Church at 11am

Well....we now have church at 11am instead of 9am. Personally, I love going at 11am. It's much easier for me to get ready and have the boys ready also. But Hunter seems to be having a hard time with the it. Normally we would get home from church around 12:10, have lunch, and then put him down for a nap. But now that we get home around 2:30pm he doesn't get to take a nap. If I let him take a nap then he's up until like 10pm. But.....we could NOT keep him awake. By about 5pm we would find him napping in the weirdest places. Here are some pictures.....

Ryker's Blessing

On Dec. 27th Ryker received his blessing from his daddy. It was so beautiful. Mike was really nervous, but he did great! We waited a long time for Ryker to come to our family. I was told that I couldn't ever have children. But 2 years, 1 surgery, and 1 miscarriage later...Ryker is finally here! He is such a sweet and mild tempered baby. He only cries if he needs something and can calm himself easily. We love him so much and can't picture our family without him. Here are some pictures from that Sunday morning. Enjoy!

Joy School!

Hunter is finally old enough to start Joy School. He has been begging to start school for about 6 months now. But he wasn't potty trained yet. He could have been....but he was lazy! He'd rather go in his diaper then walk to the toilet! (boys...) Anyways, I told him that he could start school as soon as he was potty trained. That's all it took! He was completely out of diapers within about a week. I wish I would have figured that out a lot sooner. We could have saved so much money on diapers!

He loves going to school. Even though he doesn't need to take a backpack, he insists on taking his Cars backpack. :)

So...Mike and Uncle Chippy took Hunter shooting today. It was his 2nd time going and he LOVES it! I had to stay home with Ryker.....but Mike took some great video. Hopefully I can figure out how to post it!

Ryker Update

Ryker is almost 8 weeks now. How did that happen? He's a little over 9lbs. and about 23in. long. He's already grown out of most of his newborn clothes and moved into his 3 months. It really makes me sad to know that he will never be my little baby again. He's growing up WAY to fast for me! Anyways....Ryker is a pretty good baby. He sleeps about 4 hours at a time. (with the occasional bad night) He eats like a trooper and LOVES to listen to Hunter talk to him. He can be screaming....and all it takes is Hunter talking to him. It calms him down immediately. But Ryker's all time favorite thing is to take a bath. When he hears the water he starts to kick his legs and lifts his eyebrows way up. It's really cute! I've tried using an infant bath tub....but he enjoys it soooo much more if I let him lay on a towel instead. Whatever keeps him happy! Here are some pictures from his bath tonight. Let It Snow!!

Well, we finally got some real snow in Eagle Mountain. And of course...Mike and Hunter were very excited! This summer Mike had been given a snowmobile. It didn't run at first but it didn't take Mike long to fix it up. So, first thing Sat. morning....the boys were up and dressed for the snow. I thought they were crazy! It was FREEZING! But they rode all around the neighborhood and into the hills for about an hour. Mike would have stayed out longer....but Hunter was too cold and wanted to come in and play WII. (His favorite!) I love my boys! They are so alike. Hunter will try anything that his dad tells him too. I've really got my hands full with those two. I can't even begin to imagine what it will be like when Ryker is old enough to join them! Wish me luck...I'm gonna need it with this house full of boys!

Update

I don't have much time...but I wanted to post some of the things that have been going on. First of all....
Ron (Chip) got baptized on the 20th of this month. We are so proud of him!!! He has been living with us for almost 3 years now. And we wouldn't have it any other way. He is such a good brother and Uncle Chippy. I know he could afford to move out...but hopefully we can keep him here as long as possible!

I'm also going to post some pictures of Ryker. Sorry if you have already seen them. But I've been so busy that I forget to take pictures! Anyways, hope you like them!

I couldn't get Ryker to calm down and fall asleep...so I gave him to Hunter so I could take a little breather. And as soon as I handed him off...Ryker took a deep breath and cuddled into Hunter's neck and fell asleep. Cute huh?!
