*Yawn*

So...I'm sure you could figure out by the title of this blog that we have not been getting much sleep. Ryker has a hard time sleeping at night. I think he gets a little bit of a tummy ache. And there's not too much we can do about that. I've tried changing my diet...and giving him gas meds...but I think he will just have to out grow this. But other then the lack of sleep, we are doing pretty well. I've been stuck inside for so long! But the Dr. says it's the best thing for the baby. We don't want him to catch anything that's going around.

Hunter is such a good big brother. He has not had any problems with jealousy or anger. He loves his little brother and is very patient with him.

Anyways...sorry this is going to be so short. But nap time is coming up soon...and I HAVE to lay down! Here are some pictures of the boys from the last couple of days.

Bed Time

So, we have always had a hard time getting Hunter to stay in bed and fall asleep at a decent hour. But these last few weeks he has been doing better. He doesn't spend as much time crying at his door begging for another drink or whatever he can think of to get us to open the door. Basically he just hangs out in his room until he decides he's tired. Which is fine with us as long as he is quiet.But a few nights ago it was about 11pm and we thought that he had fallen asleep by at least 9:30pm. We were wrong! We went in to check on him before we headed to bed.....and guess what we found?! Hunter was COVERED in diaper rash cream that he had found in his closet! His room, bed, blankets, and his face and PJ's were completely covered! We couldn't help but laugh and grab the camera. And how mad could we really be? He had stayed in his room and was quiet the whole time. He did exactly what we had asked of him. Maybe we should have been a little more specific! Here are some pictures of our little sneaky boy!

Halloween

Halloween this year was super special. We added Ryker to our family.....and Mike and Hunter dressed up as Mario and Luigi. How cute are they!? Hunter actually picked out the costumes himself. His favorite game is Super Mario Bro. on the Nintendo 64. Luckily we were able to find the outfits pretty easily. Anyways, Ryker and I stayed home and passed out candy while the boys went trick or treating. Hunter was thrilled with all of his candy! He couldn't believe that all he had to do was walk up to these doors and ask for candy! He was in Heaven!

Birth Story and Pix!!

Yup! Ryker is here! And a little earlier than expected too! Here is the story....

At about 10pm on Sat. I started to have contractions. I really just thought they would go away. But about an hour later they were 1.5 min. apart and I was in PAIN! I told Mike that it was time to go to the hospital. We got to the hospital around 12:30 or so....
They gave me a shot to try and stop the contractions, but they only made them 3 min. apart. After about 30 min. of being monitored the nurse came in and said that they were going to prep me for a C-Section and that the Dr. was already on his way! We were completely shocked. Ryker isn't due until the 28th. I wasn't ready! My mom wasn't here yet! We didn't even have a camera! Within 10 min. of being told this....I was getting my spinal and shortly after....Ryker was born!

It was a crazy and wonderful night! Luckily...My wonderful sis Holly made it just in time to take some pictures for us. Thanks Holly!!!

Announcing the arrival of Ryker Cole Wheat

Danielle wanted me to let everyone know that their little boy, Ryker, was born early this morning (3:01 to be exact) by cesarean. Mom and baby (and dad) are doing well. He was 6lbs 10oz and 18 inches long...and he's darling!!

Happy Birthday Hunter!!

Alright....I still can't believe that Hunter is 3!!! What happened to that sweet little baby of mine? All of a sudden he doesn't need his mommy anymore! I guess I should be happy that he is so independent. But couldn't he have done it a slower?
So, all Hunter really wanted for his birthday was a big boy bike. And of course....we didn't want to let him down. He LOVES his bike! He even says Good night to it before bed! He's been out on it everyday....and has mastered it already. Here are some pictures from his little family party. Enjoy! Oh....and there are also 2 new blogs under the pics....so keep scrolling!

And of course.....THE BIKE! It was raining outside...but we bundled him up and let him ride outside!

Camp Williams

Recently, we had the chance to go over to Camp Williams and get a special tour. Ron (Mike's brother) is in the National Guard and was able to show us around. His Sgt. was AWESOME and let us go pretty much anywhere and touch anything we wanted! Hunter had a blast in the tanks and playing with all the different guns. And of course....Mike was just as excited! He must have spent a good 30 min. in the tank trying to figure out how everything worked. :)
